John Blowers

John has more than 20 years’ experience as an HR executive and change management consultant within organizations in the energy, manufacturing, retail, finance and healthcare industries. In his previous role as the director of consulting for Sumner Grace, John was responsible for leading and executing global human capital consulting partnerships. Previously, John held talent acquisition and HR strategy senior leadership roles within organizations such as GE, CG Power and Global Foundries. An accomplished internal HR service delivery leader, John developed the business case, business requirements, sourced vendors and installed a global HRIS group as a leader for various divisions of GE. While not consulting clients, John is active in his role as Board Chair for Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York and serves on his local board of education. He also enjoys writing and is the author of a full-length novel titled Life On Tilt! John earned his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
